Shipping Cost Issue Resolved

Good afternoon,
In response to the comments & emails regarding the high international shipping costs, we have looked into the issue & have found a solution. We were originally doing Priority shipping for all shipments, and this is what led to the high international costs. Upon switching to First Class, we were able to drop shipping prices significantly: roughly $22 for Canada & $26 for UK/Europe. Based on your specific address this may differ slightly.
As of now, we are looking to adjust shipping costs in the Backerkit before cards are charged, but if we are unable to do this, then we will issue refunds for the difference in shipping costs. So if you have completed your survey & were given a shipping cost of $64, and the cost changes to $26, then we will issue a refund of $38.
I will update you all once I have more answers regarding changing rates vs refunding.

Backer Kit Survey Approved & App Update

Good Afternoon,
The Backerkit has been reviewed & approved. Surveys should be going out over the next several days so keep an eye out for that from today through next week. If you have backed at a tier level that includes a physical item, or if you added an add-on when pledging, those items will appear in your cart without any action needed (except for choosing which gemstone if you pledged gemstone tier). From there you will be able to select any add-ons if you choose to include any in your order. Upon entering your shipping info, the shipping cost will update accordingly.

A new version of the app is under testing with significant upgrades to the "My Collection" screen as well as the new set/manufacturer proposal feature. This new version will be visible in app stores any day, just remember upon updating your app, we still have several features to finish & enhancements to make that we are actively tackling in this early testing stage of development. In particular: 1) the "Market Place" (posting dice for sale & buying dice) is in development and needs to be viewed as 'Coming Soon'. 2) The set/manufacturer proposal feature needs work from the admin side for approval & rejection, so I do not recommend proposing several sets until the feature is further along. I will keep you all posted with new app updates as they occur.

Ok, so I have gotten the chance to set up the Backerkit & it is mostly completed. We are just waiting on some information like dice crate weight & gemstone set weight (as those factor into  shipping cost), and should be getting that data tonight or tomorrow. I will be meeting Friday with the team to get more firm date estimates. Once these tasks are completed the Backerkit will be submitted for review, which typically takes 24-48 hours. You all will be sent the survey upon approval.
Expect a new Backerkit update this Friday as I am hoping to report that it is under review & that the survey will be on the way!
**For those of you who sent over your info via email, thank you for being on top of it & getting it to me so quickly, however, we will be using the Backerkit to gather all necessary information. I apologize for the confusion & wasted time. I have already deleted all your emails, so please do not forget to fill out the Backerkit survey when you get it.**

App Update & Shipment Information

App Update:
Our focus has been on functionality & screens since the Kickstarter began, we are aiming to make an easy to use Collection screen, clean up the Profile screen /features, and enhance & simplify the dice proposal feature. Once this is done and app useability is at a higher standard, focus will shift to growing the database. I am expecting a testable build in the next day or two, and after testing & bug fixes, we will push to production meaning the app will be updated in the Apple/Google stores. My estimation is that the new build will be available by the middle of next week, give or take a few days to pass through the Apple & Google store review process. Mind you this is not a hard estimate, as we never know what bugs & hurdles we may come across, but it is what I am shooting for.Â
If there is not another update this week, there will 100% be one this time next week to update you all on the new build and to give you all a better answer for shipment/fulfillment dates. Thank you for your patience & please know that we are working hard to get this app up to standard you all deserve.
**ALSO** the app is called "Dice Fanatics Collector", if you look this up you will see the app with the Dice Fanatic's logo (as seen on the Kickstarter page). It can be downloaded on both the Apple & Google Play stores, but please remember, we are in alpha stages with plenty of enhancements on the way.
Shippment Information:
- I originally was going to have you all email your information to me but after safety concerns & the Backerkit being brought to my attention. We will proceed with the Backer Kit method. In all honesty I wanted to gather information to speed up the process in hopes to fulfill faster but in that I errored by not going through the proper method. That is on me for not checking in with my team and making a rash decision. So I apologize and will update you all today with Backerkit info once I am caught up to speed on that.
