New App Update + Dice Update

Good afternoon,

Some updates on our progress:

- New update for the Dice Fanatics App has been pushed to production. It’s already been approved and is live for Google Play / Android as well as Apple Store / IOS. Update includes: white screen login error fix, friend screen enhancements, dice set proposal bug fixes, among other enhancements.

- We have made solid progress with the market place on the testing side in terms of being able to post a set for sale & edit the listing. While we finish developing the “Buy” / purchase feature, the entire market place will be seen as “coming soon” to limit any confusion.

- After facing some changes with our warehouse & shipping teams, metal & gemstone dice have been ordered. Below is a small preview of what will be provided. All acrylic dice are already in our warehouse ready to ship. I will keep you all updated as more information is confirmed.

Backerkit Locked & Credits Have Been Issued for International Backers

Good morning,

The Backerkit has officially been locked & there is a 48 hour window to make any changes to your survey. We opted to delay this process as we further looked into the best method for refunding; we wanted to assure the refund would in fact be immediate. As a result, we were able to add credits to all international backer's kits to reflect the shipping difference. This amount varies from $20-$30+ based on your location. This credit means that we won't have to actually issue a refund, but rather you will be charged the correct amount when cards are charged. That being said, please be aware of what you are charged & report any discrepancies if you come across any. Once the 48 hours are up, all cards will be charged. This will occur Sunday morning (10/1).

I will be posting an update on shipping next week, so stay tuned for related information.

International Shipping Refund Update

Good evening everyone,

We will still be closing the backerkit at the end of Friday (9/22), however, for those of you that are dealing with the original estimated international fees, we will be issuing refunds this Friday/weekend based on current rates. This way, you will not have to wait until we ship the physical items to receive your shipping rate refund. Hopefully this new window will give some of you the assurance you need to complete the backerkit.

I will be sending one more email reminder through the backerkit for those of you who still need to complete it.

Last Chance to Complete Backer Kit + App Update

Good afternoon everyone,

We still have 20 individuals (13% of backers) who have not completed the backer kit. I had sent a reminder email earlier this week and have just sent a second one today. I'm extending the last day to complete the backer kit to next Friday 9/22. We will also charge cards the same day (or that weekend) after closing the backer kit. So if you have not done so yet, please complete the backer kit ASAP!

As for the mobile app, the process for proposing a manufacturer &/or dice set has been updated. This feature should be easier to find within the "Collection" screen & it should be more straight forward when filling out the proposal survey. Additionally, admin are able to approve/reject these proposals; meaning admin approval will result in the proposed set/manufacturer being added to the data base. My team & I are continuing to make improvements to this feature in regards to user experience & backend functionality. Expect an update to the app sometime next week further enhancing the proposal feature.

International Shipping Cost Update

Shipping costs cannot be changed to reflect lower actual rates in the Backerkit survey since they have already been sent out. The actual shipping rates will be used & refunds will be issued for any excess charges. As an example, if you were charged $45 for shipping when completing the Backerkit survey, but the actual shipping rate turns out to be $20, then you will be issued a refund of $25 once the shipment is completed.
